My labour weekend
On friday night I stayed at my friends house because my mum was in Australia and so was my little sister. After dinner (which were burgers) We watched angry birds 2. My friends mum told us we had to go to bed and when she left we faked it then played on the ps4 till 1:30-2:00 in the morning and then the dog went out the room then woke up there mum and then we got caught. The next day we all woke up at 9:30ish. Then there mum had to go to Levin to get a lawnmower to mow the lawn. The rest of us just did the weeding then by the time the grass was down it was already 6:00 so we had a late dinner. Then the next morning mum was coming back so I packed up then we left to do the paper run. Then we went to pick up my brother then we left to Paraparaumu to get lunch and watch Jojo rabbit. It was a great movie then we went to my nans house to see my mum then we went to a light festival in The Hutt, It was great. Then after we stopped at Mcdonalds then we went home.

Why Waka Ama is cool
Why Waka ama is cool.
Waka Ama is a race where there is a boat (waka) that you have to paddle in. This is an upper body strength sport and it is also a water sport. There are different kinds of wakas like 1 man, 6 man and 12 man.
There are different teams depending on your age:
Midgets/Yr 1, 2, 3, 4.
Intermediates/Yr 5, 6, 7.
J16/Yr 8, 9, 10.
J19/Yr 11, 12, 13.
Opens men/woman/20+
There are tournaments that you compete in. The first tournament is Regionals. If in any of your races you come 1st, 2nd or 3rd you have a time that they record and they compare it with other people times and the person with the fastest time is in the first lane at nationals where you compete with people from all over New Zealand. This tournament goes on for about 5 days and regional goes on for only 2 days.
The lengths of the lake is 250m for midgets and intermediates race 1000m and 500m, and some times they do turns which is when there is 3 floaty things that have 2 of them on the sides and 1 in the middle. If you cross over 1 of the floaty thing it is 10 seconds added to your time and if you do it twice your team is disqualified for that race.
If your club wants to, your club will go to worlds where you vs people from all around the globe. It is a fun opportunity and the next world competition is in London in 2022.
This is a great sport and soon you might be the best paddler in New Zealand or even one of the best in the world.

SNIPS Rangiteki 2019
SNIPS Rangitikei 2019 Tournament
On the first week of the holidays there was a Snips (southern-north island primary schools) tournament in Rangitikei. When we arrived there was a welcome from the people that were hosting it. Then they went over the rules. One of them was the coaches weren't aloud in the sub box.
Then there was a lunch there with sandwiches and cookies with a drink bottle. After that there was a weight limit you had to be under which was 55kgs. Luckily the whole team made it. Then there was the team photos. The photographer made us do all these funny poses and faces. After, we went to a place called Snowy Waters. We arrived there and there was a lady that told us the health and safety stuff, then we got split into cabins. I was with Tapata, Adam and Manawanui. Our cabin was called Bridge To Nowhere.
15 minutes later we had to leave to get ready for our game. We versed Hutt Valley first and I was benched the first half. The first half was pretty good, Teina scored the first try of the game, then Hutt Valley just kept on scoring. The half time score was 35-7. Then I jumped on at half time and Hutt valley just kept on scoring so then the final score was 53-7. When we got back we had a big de breif about the game and how we could improve to be better. Then next day the we had to wake up at 7:00 because thats when breakfast was. After breakfast we came up with a game plan that would hopefully work. The coaches (lez and pete) went over 2 times so we would know it pretty well. On Tuesday we were gonna vs wellington and that was called "our Redemption day" from what happened on Monday. Then we made our way to taihape to play them. When we arrived they told us the starting line up, and i found out I was on The Bench again. The first half went great, For us It was try after try. the half time score was 33-0. In the second half it kinda didn't come as well as the first half and carlos, and Manawanui started getting to cocky and then they started catching up. But we still won the final score was 53-7. Then we went to macs and got each a frozen coke then we went to the war museum. After we went back to the camp site and had dinner than played 2 games of scatogories when there is a letter and then you have to write down a Boys/Girls name food fruit vegetable and more. Then there was dessert then went to bed. The next morning like always we had breakfast and did the plan. On the day we were vs Rangitikei and we won 31-12. Then we went to the Taupo pools and went to Huka Falls. Then we had Pizza and chips for dinner. When we got back we had dessert than went to bed. The next morning we had to pack because it was our final day. so then we went to the game in taihape and Hutt Valley Bet wellington 104-0.
Then there was some thank yous from the people that helped and then there was a medal ceremony then went back home.

Holes
Holes
Holes is an interesting book with a boy named Stanley Yelnats. Stanley is a 13 year old boy that is always at the wrong place at the wrong time. One day ha had a bad day at school some shoes fell from the sky and they were Clive livings-tons shoes that were going to the homeless. He went to court and he had a choice of camp green lake or Jail. He chose camp green lake because he had never been t a camp before so he was sent there for 18 months. His whole family had a curse from his no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather.
It took him 9 hours just to get there. The camp was in Texas. When he arrived and met a man named Mr sir. He said that they were digging for character. They had to dig 5ft deep and 5ft wide holes. Mr pendanski is the leader the leader of D tent. He has heaps of friends, like Zig zag, Armpit, Zero, magnet, X ray and twitch. There was a warden that they thought was a man but was actually a woman.

Fish in a tree
The fish in a tree picture is based on the title of a book called fish in a tree. It fits in by the title of the book. This tree took me 4 days to finish this massive tree. I built the tree on Voxels.
Here is the link to voxels.
